This study is to analyze data for the small wedding policy of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and to assess the idea of small wedding in society. First, small weddings take place in locations other than wedding halls. It supports diversity and uniqueness that represent the young generation’s free lifestyles. It reflects individuals’ tendency to pursue their values. Second, small weddings consist of families and acquaintances. Inviting as small number as possible is the new wedding culture. Third, the wedding process is as minimal as possible to avoid any unnecessary formalities that people used to pursue in the past. Fourth, couples are the active participants and planners of their weddings. Small wedding is more economical and practical it promotes individuality and diversity.
