In a digitalized business environment, finding innovation and innovative ways to change business in response to digital transformation is a major factor in creating competitive advantage for companies. For small and medium-sized businesses with limited resources to survive in a digital environment, the digital awareness and digital capabilities of entrepreneurs and top management may become more important factors. Recently, researchers believe that the digital capabilities of entrepreneurs and top management in small and medium-sized enterprises drive rapid internationalization and enhance new market opportunities, innovation, and corporate growth. Therefore, this study, small and medium-sized businesses, which are influenced by the capabilities and actions of entrepreneurs and top management, in the digital environment, We find out how entrepreneurs and top management's digital capabilities affect digital innovation, international business networks, and internationalization performance. For this purpose, the causal relationship between variables was analyzed through confirmatory factor analysis and structural model analysis using AMOS (18.0 version) targeting 168 domestic small and medium-sized manufacturers entering overseas markets. As a results of analysis, Digital capability was found to have no positive effect on internationalization performance, and digital capability was found to have a positive effect on digital innovation. In addition, digital capability was found to have a positive impact on international business networks. Lastly, digital innovation was found to have a positive effect on internationalization performance, and international business networks were confirmed to have a positive effect on internationalization performance. The results of this study are expected to provide theoretical and practical implications for small and medium-sized businesses and new venture companies pursuing internationalization.
