대학교육에서 서비스러닝 국내 연구 동향 = Domestic Research Trends of Service - Learning in University Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 현재까지 수행된 대학교육에서 서비스러닝 국내 연구를 대상으로 연구 동향을 분석하여 향후 서비스러닝 연구의 방향을 제시하고자 함이다.
연구 방법은 학술 데이터베이스 검색엔진에서 ‘서비스러닝’ 또는 ‘봉사학습’이라는 주제어로 교차 검색하고 이를 3 단계에 걸쳐 검토하여 한국연구재단 등재(후보)지 논문 총 96편을 최종적으로 분석 대상 논문으로 선정하였다. 이후 연구 시기별, 연구 방법별, 학문 분야별, 연구 유형별 분석 기준에 따라 분류하여 분석하였으며, 연구 문제별 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다.
연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 시기별로 살펴보면 1990 년대 후반부터 연구가 시작되어 1990 년대 1 편(1.0%). 2000 년대 18 편(18.8%), 2010 년대 46 편(47.9%), 2020 년대 31 편(32.3%)의 연구가 수행되었으며, 점차 증가 추세로 보인다. 둘째, 연구 방법별로는 질적 연구(47.9%)가 가장 많았으며 다음은 양적 연구(20.8%), 혼합연구(16.7%), 문헌연구(14.6%)의 순이었다. 셋째, 연구 유형별로는 인식 및 경험 연구(40.6%)가 가장 많았으며, 효과 분석 연구(24%), 이론적 탐색 연구(19.8%), 교수학습모형 개발 연구(15.6%) 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 학문 분야별로는 교사 교육(38%), 예술(12.7%), 기독교 교육(9.9%), 보건의료(9.9%), 인문학(8.5%), 사회복지학(7.0%), 사회과학(5.6%), 공학(4.2%), 교육학, 융합 분야의 순으로 나타났다.
본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 대학교육에서 서비스러닝 국내 연구가 나아갈 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 서비스러닝 연구가 더욱 활성화되기 위하여 서비스러닝 이해 관계자들에게 주는 호혜성이 연구되어야 한다. 둘째, 연구 방법 선택은 연구 목적이나 각 학문 분야의 연구 진행 상황을 고려하여야 한다. 셋째, 연구 유형 측면에서 서비스러닝 평가를 위한 도구 개발 연구가 이루어져야 함을 제안한다. 넷째, 학문 분야별로는 국외 연구 동향 파악을 기초로 각 학문 분야에서 국내 연구 방향을 모색하는 연구가 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze domestic research trends on Service-Learning in university education and seek directions and implications for future research. The research method was to cross-search with the keywords 'Service- Learning' in an academic database search engine, and through three stages of review a total of 96 final articles were selected. Afterwards, it was classified and analyzed according to the analysis criteria by research year, research method, academic discipline, and research type, and the frequency and percentage of each research question were calculated. The research results are as follows. First, looking at the research period, research began in the late 1990s, with 1 study in the 1990s (1.0%). 18 studies (18.8%) were conducted in the 2000s, 46 studies (47.9%) in the 2010s, and 31 studies (32.3%) in the 2020s, and the trend appears to be gradually increasing. Second, by research method, qualitative research was the most common (47.9%), followed by quantitative research (20.8%), mixed research (16.7%), and literature research (14.6%). Third, by research type, perception and experience research was the most common (40.6%), followed by effect analysis research (24%), theoretical exploration research (19.8%), and teaching and learning model development research (15.6%). Fourth, by academic discipline, teacher education (38%), arts (12.7%), Christian education (9.9%), healthcare (9.9%), humanities (8.5%), social welfare (7.0%), and social sciences (5.6%), engineering (4.2%), education, and convergence fields, in that order. Based on the results of this study, the future direction of domestic research on Service-Learning in university education was suggested. In order to revitalize Service-Learning research, reciprocity to Service-Learning stakeholders must be studied. Choosing a research method should take into account the research purpose or the research progress in each academic discipline. Third, in terms of research type, research should be conducted to develop tools for service learning evaluation. Fourth, research is needed to explore domestic research directions in each academic field based on understanding overseas research trends.
