김정일시대 이후 북한의 대외정책- 중국, 러시아와의 관계를 중심으로 - = North Korea's foreign policy change since the advent of Kim Jong Il regime

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper intends to examine the vicissitudes of North Korea's foreign policy change since the advent of Kim Jong Il regime in the mid-nineties by adopting a modern foreign policy analytic framework in its study.In particular, the paper zeros in on North Korea's external relations especially with China and Russia by reviewing recent developments involving such pending issues as Yangbin, Trans-Siberian railroad projects, and nuclear crisis between and among those three countries. In short, this study is designed to explore what is the driving force behind the recent change of North Korea's foreign policy behaviors.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 북한 김정일 체제 등장이후의 대외관계 변화 양상을 외교정책 분석 틀을 원용하여 체계적으로 조망하였음. 특히 본 연구에서는 최근 북한과 중국, 러시아 사이에 첨예한 이해관계를 보이고 있는 북한의 신의주 특구 문제, 시베리아 횡단 철도부설 사업 등과 관련 3국간의 미묘한 입장차이를 중심으로 관계변화 양상을 추적하였으며 현재 진행중인 핵위기의 본질에 관해서도 파악하고자 함으로써 총체적으로 북한의 대외관계 변화의 원천이 무엇인가에 관해 집중 조명함.)
