검도장의 효율적인 운영 및 발전을 위한 SWOT 분석 = Kumdo-school for the development of efficient management and SWOT Analysis

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 수련자가 검도장을 선택할 때 영향력을 미치는 수련자의 일반적인 특성, 도장 선택 시 지도자가 가져야 하는 요건에 대한 분석, 검도수련 프로그램, 도장의 내적인 시설과 외적인 시설의 조사 등을 규명하여 효율적인 검도장 운영 및 발전 방향성을 제시하는 것에 연구의 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구에서는 제 24회 한국사회인검도대회에 참가한 20대 이상의 남, 여 검도수련자들을 대상으로 연구의 핵심내용과 설문지내용을 설명 드리고 동의를 얻은 다음 설문지를 배포한 후 수거하여 조사하였다. 설문지를 통해 얻은 연구 결과는 다음과 같다.

첫 번째, 검도 수련자의 검도장 선택 시 지도자의 외모, 연령, 학력이라고 할 수 있는 스펙은 도장을 선택하는 것에 전혀 효과가 없음을 알 수 있었으며, 지도자의 복장, 지도력, 성품이라고 할 수 있는 인격사항이 검도 수련자가 도장을 선택하는 것에 내부적, 외부적, 선호도가 작용하는 것으로 나타났다.

두 번째, 도장의 내부적 강점은 검도장의 내부 시설 투자가 얼마나 좋은 방향으로 수련생들을 위하여 계획되었는지 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 외부적 강점은 교통의 편리성과 도장 외부 건물의 환경 상태 등이 중요한 것으로 나타났으며, 도장의 내부적 약점은 구급약품, 훈련장비, 검도장의 규모 등으로 나타났고 외부적 약점은 도장에 오기 위한 편의성으로 나타났다.

세 번째, 도장의 위기는 주변의 안정성, 유해업소의 유/무, 주변 유사 검도장이나 다른 도장의 유/무 등으로 나타났으며, 도장의 기회는 많은 유동인구의 이동성, 도장과 자택의 이동 거리, 도장 주변의 청결성, 교통의 편리성 등으로 나타났다.

이와 같은 연구결과로 미루어 볼 때 검도장을 효과적으로 운영 하는 방법은 검도 지도자의 지도력과 성품을 더욱더 신경 쓰고 개선해야 하며 전문적인 지도 프로그램의 개발과 도장 경영에 소홀해서는 안 될 것이다. 또한 수련생들에게 적극적으로 피드백 할 수 있어야 한다. 일반 운동만 하는 스포츠센터가 아닌 신체와 정신을 모두 단련시킬 수 있는 즉, 삶의 질을 향상 시킬 수 있는 장소가 되어야 할 것이다. 또한 수련생들의 도장 선택에 있어서 보다 효율적이고 객관적인 해결책을 연구해야 할 것이다. 검사결과에서도 알 수 있듯이 도장의 내적, 외적 요인으로 작용하는 모든 조사결과에 신경 쓰고 개선해야 할 것이다.
