자기관리전략이 ADHD 아동의 숙제이행행동에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Self-Management on Homework Behavior of Children with ADHD

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of self-management on homework behavior of children with ADHD. By using ADHD screening tools, 2 girls in 5th grade and a boy in 4th grade of elementary school were selected as participants. self-management training was conducted for selected participants and multiple baseline design was utilized to investigate the changes of on-task homework behavior rates in entire 32 sessions of baseline, intervention and maintenance phases. self-management was composed to implement self-monitoring, self-evaluation, and self-reinforcement regarding homework behaviors. The results of this study are as follows. First, self-management had impact on increasing on-task homework behavior rates of children with ADHD. Second, self-management had effects on decreasing homework problems of participants. Third, participating students with ADHD maintained on-task homework behavior rates after intervention withdrawal, suggesting the generalization effects of self-management on homework behaviors of children with ADHD. These results suggest that self-management could improve homework behaviors of children with ADHD who are suffering from academic problems.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 자기관리전략이 ADHD 아동의 숙제이행행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. ADHD 선별 도구를 이용하여 초등학교 5학년 여아 2명과 4학년 남아 1명을 대상자로 선정하였다. 선정된 대상자에게 자기관리전략 훈련을 실시하고 중다기초선설계를 사용하여 기초선, 중재, 유지 총 32회기 동안 숙제이행행동률의 변화를 관찰하였다. 자기관리전략은 구체적으로 숙제이행행동에 대한 자기관찰, 자기평가, 자기강화 단계로 구성되었다. 본 연구에서 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기관리전략은 ADHD 아동의 숙제이행행동률을 증가시키는 데 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 자기관리전략은 ADHD 아동의 숙제문제를 감소시키는 데 효과가 있었다. 셋째, 자기관리전략은 ADHD 아동의 숙제이행행동률을 유지시키는 데 효과가 있었다. 이상의 결과는 자기관리전략이 실행기능의 결함으로 인해 학업문제를 겪는 ADHD 아동의 숙제이행행동을 개선시킬 수 있다는 점을 보여주었다는 데 의의가 있다.
