그림책 인쇄물 읽기와 디지털 읽기 두 매체 간 관계맺기의 효과 - ‘여름이 온다’ 사례 -

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 그림책 인쇄물 읽기와 디지털 읽기 두 매체 간 관계맺기의 효과를 살펴보는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 이수지의 ‘여름이 온다’를 연구 매체로 선정하여 만5세 남아에게 적용하였다.
그 결과로 첫째, 두꺼운 그림책‘여름이 온다’표지 읽기에 대한 유아의 반응은 표지를 보고 제목을 읽으면서 물놀이를 인지하며 그림책의 크기에 놀라 옆에 있지도 않은 친구에게 크기에 대해 질문하는 것처럼 감탄했다. 책을 읽어가는 유아의 호기심은 더스트커버의 그림에 집중하고 어제 왔던 태풍과 연결하며 실생활 경험과 그림책의 세계를 넘나들었다. 둘째, ‘여름이 온다’ 내용에 대한 유아의 이해는 성인이 해설을 해주고 음악을 틀어주자, 오히려“쉿! 음악을 들으면서 그림을 보니까 읽지 마세요!”라고 말하며 저자와 교류하는 것처럼 책 읽기에 몰두했다. 상호작용적 질문으로 기억나는 단어를 써보자는 요구에 아직 글을 쓸 줄 몰라 그림으로 장면들을 그려 인지적 구성과정을 나타냈다. 셋째, ‘여름이 온다’에 있는 QR코드는 두 매체 읽기를 가능하게 하는 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 유아는 먼저 그림책을 깊게 읽고 비판적 사고를 유지하며, QR코드로 연결된 비디오로 음악과 그림책이 살아 움직이는 영상으로 연결, 감상하면서 디지털 감성과 함께 디지털 지혜도 구성하였다. 본 연구 결과, QR코드가 있는‘여름이 온다’는 Biliterate Deep Reading으로 그림책 깊이 읽기와 디지털 읽기에서 두 매체를 연결하고 충족시킬 수 있는 매체인 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of establishing a relationship between the two media of picture book reading and digital reading. To this end, Lee Suzys ‘Summer is Coming’ was selected and applied to a 5-year-old boy.
As a result, first, the boys response to reading the cover of the thick picture book ‘Summer is Coming’ impressed by the size of book, as if asking a friend who was not next to him about the size. The curiosity of reading the book focused on dustcovers paintings and connected them with the typhoon that came yesterday, crossing the real-life experience and the world of the picture book. Second, the boys understanding of the picture book is when the adult read with music, Shh! Dont read the picture while listening to music! and immersed himself in reading books as if interacting with the author. When asked to write words, he drew in pictures to express the cognitive construciting process. Third, it was found that the QR code in Summer is Coming plays a role establishing reading of two media. Children read picture books deeply and maintain critical thinking, and connecting and appreciating music and picture books with videos connected by QR code finally, digital wisdom was constructed. Therefore, it was found that ‘Summer is Coming’ with QR code is a medium that can connect and satisfy the two media, in picture book and digital reading by Biliterate Deep Reading.
