피아노 전공 대학생들의 연습 행동 특성 분석 = An Analysis on the Characteristics of Practice Behaviors of College Piano Majors

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 피아노 전공 대학생들의 연습 행동 특성을 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 부산광역시에 소재한 D대학에 재학 중인 2, 3, 4학년 피아노 전공 대학생 18명이며, 각 학생당 30분가량의 연습 영상(총 270분)을 연구 자료로 사용하였다. 먼저 각 학생들의 연습에서 관찰되는 연습프레임 수, 연습프레임 평균시간, 연주시도 횟수, 연습프레임 당 연주시도 횟수, 그리고 평균 연주시도 시간을 분석하고(Maynard, 2006), 이를 토대로 학생들의 연습을 4가지 연습유형으로 분류하고(Rohwer & Polk, 2006), 학생들의 연습 특성(Duke et al., 2009)을 분석하였다. 연구결과 연습프레임 수, 연습프레임 평균시간, 연주시도 횟수, 연습프레임 당 연주시도 횟수, 그리고 평균 연주시도 시간은 학생들마다 다양하였으나, 이러한 차이는 연주능력과는 유의한 상관관계가 없었다(p>.05). 대부분의 학생들은 분석적, 반응적 유형의 연습을 하였으며, 실기 성적 상위권 학생들은 강약, 다이내믹, 음색의 변화 등 음조(inflection)를 가지고 연습하며 목표한 악절을 거의 완전하게 연주할 수 있을 때까지 반복해서 연습하였으나, 실기 성적 하위권 학생들은 음조 없이 곡을 단순화시켜서 연습하였고 목표한 악절의 실수한 부분만 수정한 후 바로 다음으로 연결해서 넘어갔다.
