중등도 우울 대학생을 위한 행동활성화치료 프로그램의 효과 = Effectiveness of behavioral activation treatment program for moderate depressed college student

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중등도 우울 대학생을 위한 행동활성화치료 프로그램이 우울 및 대학생활적응에 미치는 효과성을 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 960명에게 선별검사를 실시하여, 중등도(moderate) 우울 수준 이상에 해당하는 30명을 대상으로 치료 프로그램을 진행하였다. 프로그램 시작 전에는 사전검사를 실시하였고, 치료 프로그램 종결 직후에는 사후검사를 실시하였다. 추후검사는 종결 2주 뒤 시점에서 측정되었다. 연구결과, 행동활성화치료 프로그램은 우울 수준 감소에 유의미한 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 행동활성화치료 프로그램은 대학생활적응의 향상에 대한 가능성을 제안하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 제한된 대학교 환경 내에서 우울 대학생이 심리적 부적응 문제를 보일 때 행동활성화치료 프로그램이 효율적으로 실행 가능한 치료 방안이 될 수 있음을 보여주었다. 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점은 논의에서 다루었다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of behavioral activation treatment program for depressed college students in depression and college life adjustment. For this purpose, 960 college students were screened and 30 participants who were above the moderate depression were treated. Before the start of the program, pre-test was conducted and post-test was conducted immediately after termination of the treatment program. Follow-up test was conducted two weeks after the program was over. The results of the study showed that the behavioral activation treatment program had a significant effect on depression reduction. Also, a behavioral activation treatment program suggested the possibility of improvement of college life adjustment. Thus, this study showed that behavioral activation treatment program can be an efficient and feasible treatment method when depressed college students show psychological maladjustment problem in a restricted college environment. The implications and limitations of this study are discussed in the Discussion.
