      This paper analyzed the data from the ministry of culture, sports, and tourism's national survey on sports for all to discuss the factors affecting jeju residents' participation in sports activities. Data from the national survey on sports for all were extracted from jeju as of 2019, and a total of 223 people (aged 44.92±19.36 years) were used for the analysis, with 111 male and 112 female. The objective accessibility of public sports facilities such as track and field stadiums, soccer fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, gymnasiums, and swimming pools was calculated based on the straight distance and vehicle travel time. As a result of the study, first, there was a positive (+) correlation between demographic characteristics and participation in sports activities. Second, the level of participation in sports activities differed depending on the economic level, subjective health status, subjective physical fitness status, meal and nutrition status, and whether or not sports facilities were recognized. Third, the level of regular participation in sports activities differed depending on subjective health status, subjective physical fitness status, rest and sleep status, meal and nutrition status, and whether or not it was a sports facility. Fourth, the impact of participation in sports activities was found to be related to economic level and sports facility recognition factors. Fifth, the influence of regular participation in sports activities was found to be a factor in the recognition of sports facilities. Taken together, the above results suggest that jeju residents' sports activities are closely related to demographic characteristics and subjective cognitive levels.
