지적장애 특수학교 학교폭력 업무 담당 교사의 업무 경험 및 지원 요구 = Request for Work Experience and Support of Teacher in Charge of School Violence in Special School with Intellectual Disabilities

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 지적장애 특수학교 내 학교폭력 사안을 처리하는 특수교사들이 학교폭력 업무를 담당하면서 어떤 경험을 하게 되며, 또한 어떤 요구를 지니고 있는지를 밝혀내는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 다음의 연구 절차를 수행하였다. 첫째, 학교폭력 업무 경험이 있는 특수교사 8명을 연구 대상으로 선정하였다. 둘째, 이들을 대상으로 기초 면담과 개별 면담을 수행하여 이들의 학교폭력 업무 경험 및 요구를 분석하였다. 셋째, 면담 결과를 바탕으로 지적장애 특수학교 학교폭력 업무 담당자의 업무 담당 계기, 업무 담당 경험, 업무 관련 요구 분석 결과를 제시하였다. 이상의 연구 결과를 토대로 도출된 지적장애 특수학교 학교폭력 업무 담당 특수교사의 업무 경험 및 지원요구는 학교폭력 업무 담당 계기, 학교폭력 업무 경험, 학교폭력 업무 관련 개선 요구 등 3개의 대주제와 과도한 업무, 사안처리의 어려움, 학교 공동체의 지원, 교육청의 지원 등 총 9개의 하위주제로 구분되었다. 또한, 이 연구의 결과와 선행연구의 결과를 근거로 교육부와 시도교육청 차원의 지적장애 특수학교 학교폭력 관련 지원정책의 필요성, 학교폭력 업무 담당 교사가 학교폭력 업무에 전념할 수 있도록 지원하는 특수학교 차원의 학교폭력 업무 담당자 업무 경감 문화 형성의 필요성, 특수학교 학교폭력 관련 후속연구의 필요성 등을 논의·제시하였다.

This study aims to find out what special-education teachers who deal with the increasing number of school violence cases in special-education school experience and what needs they have while in charge of school violence work. We perform the following research procedures to achieve this research purpose. First, we select 8 special-education teachers with experience in school violence as subjects of study. Second, basic and individual interviews were conducted for them to analyze their school violence work experiences and needs. Third, based on the results of interviews, the opportunity of the person in charge of school violence in special-education school, the experience of the person in charge of the work, and the results of the analysis of the needs related to the work were presented. based on the results of this study and pre-study, the need to perform a culture to reduce the work of the person in charge of school violence at the special-education school level, the need for support policies related to school violence at the ministry of education and metropolitan and provincial offices of education level, and the need for follow-up studies related to school violence in special-education school were discussed and presented.
