다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine correlation of depression, aggression and suicidal thoughts on prostatic hypertrophy patients. This study aims to reduce depression, aggression, suicidal thoughts and provide with interventions for improving quality of care.
It was conducted on men subject in their 50s to 70s who diagnosed with prostatic hyperplasia in urology department of general hospital in D city for 5weeks from march 23 to April 24, 2015. Depression was diagnosed using the questionnaire in which the scale of depression (BDI) by Beck. Aggression was used the Hostility Inventory by Buss and suicidal thoughts were used the scale for Suicidal Ideation.
We conducted frequency analysis of general characteristic on collected date by IBM SPSS 22.0 program. We study the difference between depression, aggression, and suicidal thoughts attributed to general characteristic using a t-test and ANOVA. Post-hoc comparison result was dealt with using a Scheffe test. We used Pearson Correlation Coefficient to verify the correlation of depression, aggression and suicidal thoughts of subject.
The most age group was ‘60 year-old man. The most diagnosis period was ‘more than 5 years'. The depression of subjects was 9.49 points on average. ‘not depressed’ state was 61.4%, ‘mild depression’ state was 18.6%, ‘heavy depression’ state was 17.2%, ‘severe depression’ was 2.8%. The aggression of subjects was 35.48 points on average. Mostly, 99.3% of subjects had little aggression. 0.4% of subjects had some aggression. 0.4% of subjects had severe aggression. The suicidal thoughts of subjects was form 0 to 38 point, 2.39±3.32 on average. In the case of grade of prostatic hyperplasia, it was researched that severe prostatic hyperplasia patients have most points on depression, aggression, suicidal thoughts.
Upon research, it was found to be positive(+) correlation between depression and aggression, suicidal thoughts. Also, It was found to be positive(+) correlation between aggression and suicidal thoughts. It was found that more serious depression leads to higher aggression and suicidal thoughts. Therefore, it is necessary to set up measures to depression, aggression and suicidal thoughts and organize medical system to find the depression, aggression of patients primarily in the urology. Also, intermediate nursing program should be developed to prevent depression, aggression, suicidal thoughts of patients of prostatic hyperplasia.
