유방암 장기 생존자의 삶

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 장기 생존단계의 유방암 생존자의 삶을 일상생활 기술적 면담과 참여관찰의 현장연구 기법을 사용한 일상생활 기술적(記述的) 연구방법(ethnography)을 적용한 질적 연구이다. 참여자는 유방암 진단 후 재발없이 5년 이상된 유방암 생존자 11명이다. 참여관찰과 심층면담으로 자료 수집하였으며 Agar(1980)의 분석방법을 사용하였다. 유방암 치료과정은 삶의 의미를 전환하는 자아성찰의 계기와 마음속에서 긍정 찾기와 역지사지의 마음을 갖는 심리적 성장과 암의 재발과 전이에 두려움, 암치료 과정에서 안도감과 불안감의 양가감정, 가족 안에서의 다중 역할로 인한 부담감이 있으나 가족으로부터 지지와 치유의 힘을 얻는 등 가족 안에서 길 찾기를 모색하였다. 유방절제술로 인한 유방상실의 위축감과 일상에서 경험하는 피로감으로 사회생활의 범위를 줄이거나 자신의 경험을 공유하고 지지적인 역할을 하며 다양한 사회활동을 하기도 하였다. 또한 암치료로 인해 나타나는 다양한 신체적 증상들을 경험하며 섭생을 통해 일상생활을 다스리며 살아가고 있다. 이 연구는 유방암 장기 생존자가 일상생활 경험을 이해함으로서 유방암 장기생존자의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 간호중재의 기초를 제공하는데 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

This study is a qualitative study applying daily life descriptive research method (ethnography) using the field research technique of daily life interview and participation observation of the life of the breast cancer survivor in the long-term survival stage. participants were 11 breast cancer survivors who had been breast cancer for more than 5 years without recurrence. data were analyzed using the method of Agar(1980). breast cancer was also an opportunity for self-reflection, to convert the meaning of life through the process of reporting back, and The past lives put down the reflection and obsession of life for themselves. In the face of a difficult process of cancer treatment was psychological growth with a heart of change positions to find the positive in his mind and others. Fear of cancer recurrence and metastasis, the ambivalence of anxiety relief was embedded in their mind. breast cancer was also an opportunity for self-reflection, to convert the meaning of life through the process of reporting back, and The past lives put down the reflection and obsession of life for themselves. he significance of the study is to show the foundations of nursing intervention strategies and how they improve the survivors by understanding they how cope with the experience of living with breast cancer.
