한국형 슬로시티의 발전방향에 관한 소고

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims at proposing appropriate development direction of slow city suitable to Korea by drawing and analyzing implications from oversea’s cases of slow city. The Slow City movement firstly occurred in a small town Greve in Chiantti of Italy, in 1999. Four small towns in Korea had been approved as the first slow city in the Asia from CIN (Cittaslow International Network) on December 2007. First of all, this study investigated and compared cases in Italy, Japan, and Korea from the perspective of three conditions such as 1) local slow food and slow industries, 2) slow tourism, 3) slow life. In addition, the status and features analysis were conducted for the slow city of Italy and Korea. Since this study has a main goal to suggest desirable development direction of Korean slow city as mentioned, authors suggests ‘Semi Slow City’ called a newly modified concept of slow city.
