프랑스의 한국 아이돌 문화 여성팬덤과 성 담론에 대한 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article studies the way how gender discourses generated by the Korean idol culture are articulated in the discursive formation of gender through the reception practices in the Western Europe. Cyber ethnography is made on a French Fan forum on the East Asian television drama. It shows that the idol culture is reinterpreted in the gender discourses where the Boys’love Manga and Yaoi culture as well as the slash fan fiction practices are already installed. French female fans are actively searching for a digital scopophilia extracting idols from the narratives of dramatic romantic fantasy. Idols are consumed as a new masculinity of the modern East Asia beyond the Asian male stereotypes established by Hollywood film tradition. It is also observed that fans are aspiring for a multicultural and hybrid identity in their practices and that all those practices linked to idol culture offer materials for Queering gender identities in the Western culture.
