한국 기혼남녀의 역기능적 성신념: 성별 요인구조 탐색 및 인구사회학적 변인에 따른 차이

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 Nobre 등(2003)의 Sexual Dysfunctional Beliefs Questionnaire를 번안하여 한국 기혼남녀의 역기능적 성신념의 요인구조를 탐색하고, 인구사회학적 변인에 따른 성신념의 차이를 검증하고자 하였다. 전국의 30~59세 기혼남녀 310명의 자료를 탐색적 요인분석, 독립표본 t-검증, 일원변량분석으로 분석하였다. 남성의 역기능적 성신념은 ‘성적 보수주의’, ‘마초 신념’, ‘성적 활동에 대한 제한적 태도’, ‘성적 권한 부여’의 4요인, 여성은 ‘성적 보수주의’, ‘애정우선 거부’, ‘연령과 신체 관련 신념’의 3요인으로 구성되었다. 남성의 성신념은 인구사회학적 변인에 따른 차이가 없었으나, 여성은 연령, 결혼기간, 자녀 수에 따른 차이가 있었다. 부부의 성적 어려움에 대한 이해와 개입을 위한 기초자료를 제공했다는 데 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Objectives: This study aimed to explore the factor structure of dysfunctional sexual beliefs among Korean married men and to women, and to examine sociodemographic differences in these beliefs using the Sexual Dysfunctional Beliefs Questionnaire (SDBQ; Nobre et al., 2003). Methods: Data were collected from 310 married individuals aged 30 to 59 and analyzed using exploratory factor analysis, independent samples t-tests, and one-way ANOVA. Results: Men’s dysfunctional sexual beliefs comprised four factors: sexual conservatism, macho beliefs, restricted attitude toward sexual activity, and sexual empowerment. For women, three factors emerged: sexual conservatism, denying affection primacy, and age and body-related beliefs. Men’s beliefs did not significantly differ by sociodemographic variables, but women’s beliefs varied significantly based on age, length of marriage, and number of children. Conclusions: This study is invaluable in providing the basis for a better understanding of married men and women’s sexual beliefs, and in intervening with their sexual difficulties.
