결혼이민자가족의 아내학대와 영향요인 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국남성과 결혼한 이주여성의 학대를 살펴보고 개인적 변수, 부부관계적 변수, 사회문화적 변수들이 아내학대에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 연구이다. 조사대상자는 한국에 이주해 온 동남아 여성 174명을 분석하였다. 그 결과 학대 영역 중 심리적 학대가 가장 높게 나타났으며 그 다음으로 신체적 학대, 성적 학대순으로 드러났다. 이주여성의 개인적 변수, 부부관계적 변수, 사회문화적 변수들이 전체 학대에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과 개인적 변수에서 농촌에 거주한 경우, 남편의 음주정도가 높을수록, 부부관계적 변수에서 의사소통이 효율적이지 않을수록, 부부갈등이 높을수록, 사회문화적 변수에서 한국어 구사능력이 낮을수록, 사회적 지지가 낮을수록, 문화정체감에서 동화와 통합의 정도가 낮을수록 학대경험이 높게 나타났다. 즉 한국남성과 결혼한 이주여성의 아내학대에 개인적, 부부 관계적, 사회문화적 변수 등 다양한 측면의 요인들이 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이주 여성의 학대감소를 위해 예방프로그램의 개발을 포함한 다각적인 개입방안이 모색되어야 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of this study were to find the general trends of individual, marital relation, socio-cultural variables, and abuse, to analyze the effects of individual, marital relation, socio-cultural variables on the abuse. The subjects were the 174 of immigrant women living in Kwangju and Jeonnam. The data were analyzed with frequency, ANOVA and multiple regression by SPSS. The major findings were as follows;
The level of total abuse(range 1-4) was 2.066, psychological abuse was the highest of 2.234, and the next physical abuse of 1.922, sexual abuse of 1.782. Immigrant women's abuses were influenced by native country, husband's alcohol behavior, husband's sex-role attitude, communication efficiency, marital conflict, Korean proficiency, social support and acculturation. Abuse was caused by various variables. So it needed to integrated approach to immigrant women.
In conclusion, it is important to protect immigrant women's human right from abuse. So understanding, reasonable coping, prevention program and counseling of abuse were provided to immigrant women.
