Sinbong-dong tombs were built in the structural system of Baekje, which were conjectured to be built between late 4th and late 5th century or early 6th century. The central period seems to be middle and later 5th century in its stage Ⅲ and stage Ⅳ. Hanseong Baekje central style pottery took up the majority of 2/3 among the whole population of pottery. Most were manufactured by the motif of Hanseong Baekje central style pottery. Besides, there are Nanhyeong ho (Round bottom with long body type) produced from Sansuri kiln, Pyeongjeoho (Flat surface type), Yugyeonho, Gaebae(Dish of cover). Gobae (Mountes Dish), Samjokgi (Tripod Pottery), Jikgudangyeongho (Jars with short neck) do not reflect hierarchy even though such Hanseong Baekje central style pottery reflected a period to some degree. The 4 tombs were selected by style type, appearance of new kind, analysis of Gongban relics, and distribution style of relics in tombs, and the distribution style were analyzed. While the stage Ⅰand stage Ⅱ were built in the main of 70m of above sea height ranging between 52 and 70 m, tombs began to be built over 70m from the stage Ⅲ and expanded to south-facing slope under 60m demonstrating various tombs building shapes. Such was more widespread in the stage Ⅳ. When the construction under 70m was not available because of tombs built in stages Ⅰ~Ⅲ, it showed the destruction of earlier tombs, and the expansion of building to south-facing slop under 52m. On the other hand, tombs over 70m demonstrated the tombs for top hierarchy with harness and stone chamber without overlap. While social aspects of Sinbong-dong tombs were not treated specifically, the stages Ⅰ~Ⅱ seems less hierarchical than the stages Ⅲ and Ⅳ, and the explosive expansion of tombs in the stage Ⅳ and the excavation of multiple weaponry such as harness may be the important foundation to estimate the situation of the time.
