This paper presents the investigation on the improvement of the SUV rollover performance by the AGCS system. The AGCS system actively controls the suspension link mounting point of the body to increase the rear bump toe-in angle during hign-speed turning maneuvers. The effect of the AGCS is remarkable to enhance a handling performance in high-speed cornering by adjusting rear bump toe-in angle and especially a rollover performance of the SUV. In this paper, the AGCS control scheme has been developed. The vehicle with the AGCS system is compared with the vehicle without the AGCS through the fishhook test. The test is passed if front and rear wheel lift doesn't occur at the same time. The fishhook test results show that the vehicle has a good rollover performance with the AGCS system connected.
