Reexamination of the Ironical Interpretation of the Parable of the Unjust Steward in Luke 16

국문 초록 (Abstract)

누가복음 16자의 불의한 청지기 비유는 신약에 등장하는 비유들 중에서 가장 난해한 비유이거나 아니면 누가복음 전체에서 가장 난해한 부분이라 할 수 있다. 이 비유의 제목을 무엇으로 할 것인가에서 부터 의견이 나누어져서, 때로는 '불의한 청지기의 비유', '지혜로운 청지기의 비유', '영리한 청지기의 비유', 혹은 심지어 '불의한 주인의 비유'로 불려지기도 한다. 각각의 제목은 비유에 대한 기본적 해석을 반영해 준다. 그런 난해함 때문에, 학자들은 다양한 해석을 제시해 왔는데, 그 주장들을 크게 네 가지로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 전통적 해석, 사회경제적 해석, 사회학적 해석, 풍자적 해석.
본 연구는 누가복음 16장의 비유의 풍자적 해석을 재평가하고 그 비유가 반어법적이며 풍자적으로 해석되어야 함을 주장한다. 특별히 풍자적 해석의 결정적인 약점으로 여겨지는 부분, 곧 비유 자체의 그 어디에도 풍자적 요소가 없다는 주장에 대해 답을 제시하려 시도한다. '처소'에 해당하는 헬라어 명사 σκηνη와 '영원한 처소'에 해당하는 σκηνκ αιωνιοξ의 용례는 이 비유가 풍자적 요소를 포함하고 있음을 입증해 준다. 본 연구는 이 표현들의 신약에서의 용례뿐 아니라, 70인경과 초기 기독교 문헌에 쓰인 용례를 연구하여 이 표현이 반어법적인 의미를 내포하고 있음을 밝혀낸다.
또한 본 논문은 이 비유가 위치해 있는 넓은 문맥에 대한 분석 역시 풍자적 해석을 지지해 줌을 밝혀낸다. 15장과 16장의 비유들의 청중과 16장 14절에 기록된 바리새인의 비웃음, 넓은 문맥의 중심 주제 그리고 누가복음에 나타나는 선행을 베풀라는 예수님의 가르침과 선지자로서 풍자를 사용하는 예수님의 모습 등에 대한 연구는 이 비유의 풍자적 해석을 뒷받침 해 준다.
