      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      This is one of the studies to give more concrete and practical evaluation to the curriculum. In an attempt to grope for some materials and suggestions in the method and procedure for the synthetic evaluation with five subjects of the curriculum. The following study purposes were set up according to the literature analyses method.
      1. to suggest criteria for the synthetic evaluation of the curriculum.
      2. to suggest procedures for the synthetic evaluation of the curriculum.
      3. to suggest evaluation materials for the management of the educational administration.
      4. to call attention to improvement in the planning and development of the curriculum and suggest their direction.
      In this study,
      (1) Attention was given to the construct validity of evaluation after five fields, twenty five items and 372 criteria for the synthetic evaluation of the curriculum were set up by means of literature study.
      (2) The evaluation procedures show that the prescribed evaluation was made to the evaluation tool prepared in the form of five steps of self-rating scale in accordance with the above fields. items and criteria and its results were suggested as the basic materials for the improvement of the curriculum.
      (3) Forty items of indispensable fundamental factors and directions for each subject of the synthetic evaluation fields. were suggested in the form of recommendation My original motive was to make detailed reference to the matters brought up in this study. However, the imperfection of research, the insufficiency of preparatory test, and the unskilled study, etc., made my effort limited to suggest this plan as a tentative one.
