영아기 기질이 아버지의 양육행동을 매개로 유아기 정서문제에 미치는 영향 = 다변량 잠재성장모형과 자기회귀교차지연모형을 활용한 종단매개효과 검증

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 영아 기질, 아버지의 양육행동, 유아 정서문제 사이의 상호관계를 잠재성장 모형과 자기회귀교차지연모형을 통해 검증하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널조사(PSKC) 자료의 0세부터 2세까지와 5세부터 7세까지의 자료인 1차~3차 년도와 6차~8차 년도의 종단 자료를 활용해 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 다변량 잠재성장 모형을 적용한 결과 영아 기질 초기값이 유아 정서문제 초기값에 미치는 영향력에서 아버지의 온정적 양육행동의 초기값은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기회귀교차지연 모형을 적용한 결과, 6세 유아를 둔 아버지의 온정적 양육행동이 높을수록 7세 유아의 정서문제가 낮았고, 초등학교 1학년 학생을 둔 아버지의 온정적 양육행동이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 6세 유아 정서문제가 높을수록 7세 유아를 둔 아버지의 온정적 양육행동이 낮았고, 초등학교 1학년 학생의 정서문제가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 6세 유아 정서문제가 높을수록 7세 유아를 둔 아버지의 통제적 양육행동이 낮았고, 7세 유아 정서문제가 높을수록 초등학교 1학년 학생을 둔 아버지의 통제적 양육행동이 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objectives of this study were to analyze the longitudinal mediation effects of father’s parenting behavior on the influence of infant’s temperament to children’s affective problems and to examine the systematic relationship among father’s parenting behavior(control/warmth) and children’s affective problems. For these objectives, latent growth modeling and autoregressive cross-lagged modeling were used and were adapted to Panel Study on Korean Children(PSKC) data, Wave I (0-year olds) to Wave III (2-year olds) and Wave VI (5-year olds) to Wave VII (7-year olds).
The results showed that the mediation effects of father’s parenting behavior were significant. First, the results from latent growth curve modeling showed that father’s parenting behavior had a significant mediating effect on the influence of infant’s temperament to children’s affective problems. Second, the results from autoregressive cross-lagged modeling showed that affective problems of 6-year old children were low as the parental behavior (warmth) of the fathers with 5-year old children was high. The parental behavior (warmth) of the fathers with first grade students was also high. Third, parental behavior (warmth) of the fathers with 6-year old children increased as the affective problems of 5-year old children was low. The affective problems of first grade students was also high. Moreover, the higher the affective problem of the 5-year-old children, the less parental behavior (control) of the fathers with 6-year-old children. The higher the affective problem of the 6-year-old children, the less parental behavior (control) of the fathers with first grade student.
The implications of the findings of the current study and suggestions for future research were also discussed.
