성인 대상 농업문해 측정도구 개발 = The Development of the Agricultural Literacy Instrument for Adults

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate and instrument for measuring agricultural literacy of adults in Korea. The instrument was based on a thematic areas,subareas and standards of agricultural literacy developed in Korea in 2008. A pilot test and content validation were undertaken to modify the items. Thirty three adults participated in the survey. To assess the reliability and validity of the instrument, item analysis(mean, item difficulty) and internal consistency were used.
Based on the findings of the study, major conclusions were reached as follows:First, It was appropriate to use the 6-dimensional instrument (functions and vlalues of agriculture and rural areas, production of agricultural products, the processing and distribution of agricultural products, values and safety of agricultural products and foods, agriculture and the natural environment, and agricultural policy) with 33 items for adults in Korea. The instrument directed respondents to answer either ‘true’, ‘false’, or ‘don’t’ know’ to each of 33statements and the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was .755.
Second, the instrument’s response ranges were of 0 to 33 points and average was 24.12 in the survey.
Third, a agicultural literacy depends on the aged and policies and in order to measure agricultural literacy should take that into consideration.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 최근 우리나라의 실정에 맞게 개발된 농업문해의 개념과 성취기준을 바탕으로 성인을 대상으로 한 측정 도구를 개발하고 타당화하는 데 있다. 이 연구는 우리나라 성인의 농업문해를 측정하는 질문지를 개발하기 위해 ‘문헌 고찰 - 측정도구 초안 개발 – 내용타당도 검증 – 문항 분석’의 절차로 이루어졌다. 농업문해에 대한 문헌고찰을 통해 농업문해의 정의와 영역을 설정하고 이를 바탕으로 측정도구의 문항을 개발하였다. 개발한 문항은 농업 및 농업교육 전문가에게내용타당도 검증을 받아 수정하고 수정한 질문지를 활용하여 성인을 대상으로 조사한 후 문항을분석하고 신뢰도를 도출하였다.
첫째, 우리나라 성인 대상 농업문해 측정도구는 농업․농촌의 기능과 가치(7문항), 농산물의 생산(4문항), 농산물의 가공 및 유통(4문항), 농식품의 가치와 안전성(5문항), 농업과 자연환경(5문항),농업정책(8문항)의 6개 영역 33문항으로 구성되었으며 신뢰도는 .755였다. 응답형태는 ‘O, X, 모른다’이며 정확한 응답을 한 경우 1점, 그렇지 않거나 모른다에 응답한 경우에는 0점으로 처리하며, 응답하는 데는 5~10분 정도 걸린다.
둘째, 개발한 측정도구의 응답범위는 0점~33점이며 33명을 대상으로 조사한 결과에서 평균은24.12(100점 환산 73.09), 표준편차는 4.30(100점 환산 13.05)이었다.
셋째, 농업문해는 시대와 국가 정책에 따라 달라질 수 있는 부분들이 있어 측정에서도 이를 고려하는 것이 바람직하다. 특히 농업정책 영역의 경우 측정하고자 하는 그 시기와 상황에 따라 문항을 일부 수정하여 사용하는 것이 더욱 신뢰성 있는 결과를 도출할 가능성이 많다.
