국내언론에 나타난 재만 정의부의 對民活動과 항일무장투쟁 = The military civic action and anti­Japanese armed struggle of Jungeuibu in Manchuria on the domestic press

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aimed to explain the character and feature of military civic action and its struggle against Japan of Jungeuibu, which was the representative organization of anti­Japanese armed struggle, through domestic press. There were 『Dong­A Ilbo』, 『Chosun Ilbo』, 『Jungeui Ilbo』 and 『Maeilsinbo』 pressed in Korea at that time. They help to generally understand the activity of Jungeuibu until 1920’, although there are some variations in their contents and report.
The press in Korea grasped the progress of establishment of Jungeuibu relatively detailed, and reported its various activities such as military and educational activity and autonomy movement. In particular, they reported on the educational activity relatively detailed, but faced with significant control of the press on the military action.
From the reports, we could find that the military action in Korea of the Volunteer Army of Jungeuibu was developed with raid on a police substation and financial association and distribution of various manifestos, and punishment of pro­Japanese group and Japanese polices. Also, they reported that Jungeuibu sought to extensively struggle against Japan in Korea at the inauguration ceremony of building of Japanese Government General of Korea and the day of national funeral of Sun­Jong, and mostly military action of Jungeuibu had a decisive effect on the police order of frontier of Japanese Imperialism. Therefor, it is right to say that these trends of domestic press constantly encouraged the independent consciousness of Korean people.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문에서는 1920년대 만주지역에 활동하던 대표적인 항일무장투쟁 단체인 정의부의 대민활동과 항일무장투쟁에 대해 국내언론에 보도된 기사 내용을 중심으로 그 특징과 성격에 대해 살펴보았다. 당시 국내에서 발행되던 신문으로는 『동아일보』, 『조선일보』, 『중외일보』, 『매일신보』 등이 있었다. 그리고 이들 신문은 보도 내용이나 다루는 기사의 내용에 약간의 편차가 있기는 하지만 전체적으로 1920년대 중반까지의 정의부의 활동사항을 이해하는 데는 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 파악된다.
국내언론들을 정의부의 성립과정에 대해 비교적 소상하게 파악하고 있었으며, 정의부의 군사활동을 비롯하여 교육활동 및 자치운동과 기타 다양한 활동 등에 대해서도 보도하고 있었으다. 특히 정의부의 교육활동에 대해서는 비교적 소상하게 보도하였으나 군사활동에 대해서는 상당한 수준의 언론통제에 직면하고 있었던 것으로 파악된다.
또한 정의부의용군의 국내에서의 군사 활동에 대해서는 주재소나 금융조합 등을 습격하거나 각종 격문의 배포, 친일파나 일제경찰의 처단 등을 통해 상당히 적극적인 항일투쟁을 전개한 것으로 나타난고 있으며, 또한 정의부가 조선총독부 건물 낙성식이나 순종의 인산일 등에 국내에 들어와 대대적인 항일투쟁을 전개하고자 했던 것으로 보도하고 있으며, 대체로 정의부의 군사활동은 일제의 국경치안에 중대한 영향을 끼쳤던 것으로 나타나고 있다. 따라서 국내언론의 이 같은 보도 경향은 국내의 대중들의 독립의식 고취에 일정하게 영향을 주었을 것으로 판단된다고 하겠다.
