관상동맥 스텐트 골절은 매우 드물게 관찰되고 있으나 대부분 긴 스텐트, Sirolimus 약물 용출 스텐트에서 발생하며, 재협착이 국소적으로 발생하는 것으로 보고 되고 있다. 저자는 비교적 짧은 길이 (24mm)의 스텐트, Paclitaxel 약물 용출 스텐트에서 재협착도 미만성으로 발생한 드문 예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Drug-eluting stent (DES) has been introduced as one of the most effective therapeutic modalities for patients with ischemic heart disease. Major limitation of DES is late stent thrombosis and stent fracture. Almost all cases of stent fracture have been reported in association with DES, especially sirolimus-eluting stents (SES), long stent implantation, and use of overlapping stents. We report a case of diffuse in-stent restenosis associated with paclitaxel-eluting stent fracture which could not be noticed angiographically and identified by intravascular ultrasound.
