한글 캘리그라피 디자인의 동향과 활용에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한글 캘리그라피는 이제 우리의 생활 문화 전반에 자리 잡고 있는 대중적 용어가 되었다. 광고, 포스터, 책표지, 뿐만 아니라, 백화점이나 마트 등에 진열되어 있는 상품들의 브랜드 네임에서도 쉽게 접할 수가 있다. 또한 디지털화 된 표현이 범람하고 있는 상황에 아날로그적 감성의 한글 캘리그라피가 더욱 신선하게 느껴지면서 다양한 분야로 그 영역이 확장되어가고 있다. 또한 전통 서예가 예술작품 시장을 주도하여 왔으나, 최근 한글 캘리그라피의 성장과 작가들의 작품 발표가 늘어남으로서 한글 캘리그라피의 표현 유형에 대한 논의도 활발해지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 상업성과 예술성을 목적으로 하는 한글 캘리그라피를 중심으로 표현 동향과 활용에 대한 심층 연구를 통하여 작품 경향을 도출함으로서 캘리그라피 작가들의 작품 방향성과 발전에 도움이 되고자 한다. 분석을 통해서 추출된 결과, 표현 형태에 따라 의미적 형상의 캘리그라피, 구성적 형상의 캘리그라피, 심미적 형상의 캘리그라피, 융합적 형상의 캘리그라피 등 4가지 형상의 표현으로 추출 할 수 있었다.

Hangul calligraphy has now become a popular term in our entire lifestyle. It can be easily seen from the brand names of products that are displayed on advertisements, posters, book covers, department stores and marts. In addition, digitalized expression is overflowing, and analogue emotional Hangul calligraphy is felt to be fresher, and the area is expanding to various fields. In addition, the traditional calligraphy art market has led the market. However, as the growth of Korean calligraphy and the increase in the number of presentations of the artists have increased, discussions about the expression pattern of Hangul calligraphy have also become active. Therefore, this study aims to help the calligraphy writers' direction and development of works by deriving the tendency of works through in - depth study on the trends and applications of expressions, focusing on Korean calligraphy for commercial and artistic purposes. As a result of the analysis, it was possible to extract four types of expressions such as calligraphy of semantic shape, calligraphy of constitutive shape, calligraphy of aesthetic shape, calligraphy of fusion shape according to expression style.
