간호사 의사소통의 영향요인 = Affecting Factors of Nurses’ Communication

Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the factors that affect nurses’ communication. Methods: This study employed a descriptive survey design. The sample of this study consisted of 174 nurses at hospital in Korea from June 1st to 18th, 2009. The data were analyzed SPSS/WIN 17.0 program and factors affecting nurses’ communication were analyzed by multiple regression. Results: 1) Level of nurses’ communication was average of 3.44, ego strength 0.36, self-image 3.53, ego distribution 2.92, interpersonal relations 3.52, and family function 3.39. 2) Nurses’ communication had significant positive correlation with interpersonal relations, self-image, family function, and ego strength. On the other hand, it had not significant correlation with ego distribution. 3) Interpersonal relations (t=9.68, p<.001), ego strength (t=3.11, p=.002), and family function (t=2.26, p=.025) significantly predicted the level of nurses’ communication (Adjusted R2=.418, p<.001). Conclusion: The study finding suggested to develop hospitals’ management program for increasing nurses’ communication.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

목적: 간호사의 의사소통에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위하여 설계되었다. 연구방법: 서술적 조사연구로 준종합병원 이상의 8개의 병원에서 근무하는 174명의 간호사를 대상으로 6월1일~18일까지 자료수집을 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN17.0프로그램을 이용하여 피어슨 상관관계, 회귀분석을 하였다. 결과: 1) 간호사의 의사소통은 5점 만점에 평균 3.44로 표준오차±0.35이고, 독립변수 각각의 평균점수(표준오차)는 자아강도 1점 만점에 평균 0.36로 표준오차±0.13, 자아상 5점 만점에 평균 3.53로 표준오차는±0.50, 자아분화는 4점 만점에 평균 2.92로 표준오차±0.59, 대인관계는 5점 만점에 3.52로 표준오차 ±0.37, 가족기능은 5점 만점에 평균 3.39로 표준오차±0.50으로 나타났다. 2) 간호사의 의사소통은 대인관계(r=.63, p<.001), 자아상(r=.40, p<.001), 가족기능(r=.30, p<.001), 자아강도(r=.13 p<.008)순으로 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 자아분화(r=.14, p<.78)는 유의미하지 않은 결과가 나왔다. 3) 간호사의 의사소통에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 대인관계(t=9.68, p<.001), 자아강도(t=3.11, p<.002), 가족기능(t=2.26, p<.025) 로 규명되었다. 이 영향요인의 회귀모형은 유의한 것으로 나타났다.(f=39.79, p<.001). 결론: 본 연구의 결과를 통해 간호사의 의사소통을 향상시킬 수 있는 병원 관리 프로그램으로 활용한다.
