평양 석암리 194호 출토 竹簡 고찰 = Study on the bamboo slip from the Seogam-ri tomb No.194, Pyongyang

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 평양 석암리 194호에서 출토된 죽간에 대한 보고를 목적으로 작성되었다. 이 유적은 1924년 발굴되었고, 1974년에 발간된 보고서인『樂浪漢墓』第一冊에 194호 2호 목관에서 죽간 한 점이 출토된 것으로 보고된 바 있다. 이 죽간에 대한 자세한 검토를 위해 그 동안 선행 연구들에서 제기된 간독의 재료 선정과 용도에 따른 구분을 살펴보고, 이를 기반으로 석암리 194호 출토 죽간을 분석해 보았다.
이를 통해 석암리 194호 출토 죽간이 漢代표준간의 규격과 일치됨을 밝혔다. 또한 정밀 조사 결과 표면에는 칠이 되어 있었고, 비록 문자는 발견되지 않았지만 위 아래로 구멍이 뚫려 있었으며, 2∼3단 정도 끈으로 엮었던 흔적이 드러나 죽간의 겉장 부분으로 파악할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 평양 석암리 194호 출토 죽간이 최근 학계의 관심이 집중되었던 평양지역 정백리 364호에서 출토된 논어 죽간과 마찬가지로 편철된 죽간의 일부였음을 밝힐 수 있었다.
이는 미공개 자료의 보고라는 목적과 고대 문자 자료의 중요한 단서 중 하나인 죽간 자체의 검토를 통해 죽간의 용도 및 성격 등을 논의해 보고자 시도 되었다. 이 글이 향후 문자 자료 연구 및 관련 분야에 걸쳐 종합적인 연구로 나아가기 위한 기초 자료로 활용되게 될 것을 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is for a report of the bamboo slip which had been excavated from the Seogam-ri tomb No.194, Pyongyang. This site was found in 1924, and the first volume of『Lo-Lang Han Tombs』reported that a bamboo slip was discovered from a wooden coffin No.2 of this site in 1974. This study plans to search materials and use of the Bamboo slips which have been suggested by preceding researchers in a bid to investigate them, furthermore based on this research analyzes the bamboo slip from the Seogam-ri tomb No.194.

This analysis represents the result that the bamboo slip from the Seogam-ri tomb No.194 is in accord with the standard of Han Dynasty. Detailed investigation says that it was painted on surface; though the character was not found on the bamboo slip, the holes were down, furthermore it is illustrated the cover of the bamboo slip such as the lacquered surface, two perforations and the trace of the binding with two or three strings. According to this, it was recently figured out that the bamboo slip was a part of a binder book, similar to a bamboo slip from the Jeongbaek-dong tomb No.364.

This study is to introduce the use and the characteristics of bamboo slip through the research of bamboo slip itself, one of the crucial clues of unpublished data report and ancient character materials. This study expects that it would be applied as a basis to move to a comprehensive study across the next character research and related fields.
