In this paper, the fracture simulation of ceramic dome under shock pressure is performed by the finite element method with nonlinear code LS-Dyna. The material properties of simulation are applied with experimental result of tensile test for MACOR Glass-filled ceramic. The simulation is carried out with 3 type dome models under various impact pulse shape. The fracture strength and pressure are compared about each case. The results of the simulation are useful to evaluate the behavior of ceramic dome.
