The objective of this research was to investigate the determinants of the expenditures on trip and demand for casino gaming of Korean visitors to Las Vegas. Tobit analysis was used to inform that visitors` sociodemographic characteristics, type of visit, and trip patterns were important determinants of total expenditures on trip. However, the importance of these factors varied by type of spending: restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and tour. Decomposition of the tobit marginal effects indicated the quantity factor was more important than the market participation response in general. Applied with the Poisson model, the key determinants of casino demand have been scrutinized. On the basis of the results, while visitors` sociodemographic characteristics except for marital status and income level were not important determinants of the casino demand, the demand itself was found significantly affected by length of stay, number of casinos to visit, and type of company. As participating motives, ``pursuing money`` was also an important determinant in the demand. According to a partial correlation analysis, foreign casino demand formed a significant substitutive relation with house gamble and adult indoor gamble.
