In this paper, interlaminar (interply) shear strains on the inner area of tire belt specimens were measured from images, which were taken by X-ray with experimental setup under the uniaxial extension loading. The effects of cord angle and specimens width were studied. Also, the measured results were compared with theoretical analysis. In view of qualitative analysis, good agreements were shown between experiment and theory, but some differences were shown in the quantitative analysis.
