여가전문화와 자원소비행동을 이용한 낚시인의 친환경행동 참여과정 연구 = A Study on Recreati onal Anglers’ Participati on Process of Environmentall y Responsible Behavi ors Using Recreati on Specializati on and Consumptive Orientation Behaviors

국문 초록 (Abstract)

공유자원의 특성을 가진 물고기자원의 지속가능한 이용과 어업인과의 갈등 완화를 위해서는 낚시참여자에 대한 친환경행동 참여 형성 과정에 대한 이해가 필수적이다. 이 연구에서는 물고기를 잡고 소유하려는 성향과 행동이 강한 국내 낚시참여자의 특성으로 인해, 여가전문화가 친환경행동에 미치는 영향이 약화될 수 있음을 보여주고자 한다. 두가지의 다른 연구모형을 설정하였고, 자료수집을 하였으며, 구조방정식을 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 낚시활동 특유의 물고기를 잡고 소유하는 개념인 자원소비성향이나, 낚시친환경행동이 매개변수로 여가전문화와 친환경행동 등의 관계성에 부정적 영향을 준다는 확인하였다. 연구의 시사점은 낚시참여자의 물고기를 잡고 소유하려는 성향과 행동을 적극적으로 바꿔야 할 필요성이 있다는 것을 제시하고자 한다.

For the sustainable use of fishery resources as common resources and the mitigation of conflicts with commercial fishermen, it is essential to understand recreational anglers’ participation process of environmentally responsible behaviors (ERB). This study intends to show that the effects of recreation specialization on environmentally responsible behaviors can be weakened due to the characteristics of anglers, who prefer to possess caught fish. Two different research models were tested with two data sets independently collected.
The data were analyzed with structural equation modeling. The results show that consumptive orientation, which measures a degree of catching and owning fish, and fishing-specific ERBs negatively affect the relationships between recreation specialization and general ERBs as mediation variables. Implications are further discussed that regulation policies and education programs are needed to change anglers’ consumptive orientation and catch-related fishing behaviors.
