향기요법이 운수종사자의 직무 스트레스에 미치는 효과 = Effect of the Aroma Therapy on the Job Stress of Transportation Workers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 향기요법이 택시업 운수종사자의 직무스트레스 경감과 업무만족도 증진에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 실시하였다. 택시운수종사자 120명을 선발하여 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 설문항목은 응답자의 일반사항, 향기에 대한 호감도, 천연향 및 피톤치드에 대한 인식, Spielberger 상태불안 스트레스항목으로 구성하여 분석하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 향기는 ㈜에스오지의 ‘정’ 향 제품을 사용하였다.
설문조사결과 운수종사자들의 일반적인 향기 호감도는 대부분 긍정적인 평가로 나타났다. 그리고 향기에 대한 업무만족도는 5점 척도를 기준으로 평균 3.8~4.0으로 비교적 높게 평가되어 향기가 운수종사자에게 좋은 영향을 미치는 것으로 사료된다. 또한, 향기요법은 차량 내 분위기를 좋게 하여 운수종사자의 긴장을 완화시키고, 기분을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of aroma therapy on job stress reduction and job satisfaction improvement of taxi driver. The subjects of this study were 120 respondents who were selected by taxi transportation. Survey items were composed of respondents' general items, favorance of fragrance, recognition of natural fragrance and phytoncide, and Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. The fragrance used in this study was 'Jeong (Emotional Forest)' product of SOG company.
As a result of the survey, the most favorable evaluation of the general fragrance of transportation workers was found to be positive. The job satisfaction with fragrance was evaluated as high of 3.8 ~ 4.0 on the basis of 5 point scale. Therefore, it is considered that fragrance has a good effect on transportation workers. In addition, aroma therapy improved the mood in the vehicle and relieved the tension of transportation workers.
