      This is the first report of experiment aimed at developing quality of dry processed whole parts of Nephrolepis cordifolia ‘Duffii’. Changes of weight, flexibility and color of dry leaves by glycerol uptake and immersion time were monitored. To increase glycerol uptake and maintain green color, respective soluble salts and artificial dyestuff were added in glycerol solutions. Fifty percentage glycerol solution and immersion time for 144 hours provided leaves with optimum weight increment and flexibility. 10 mM NaCl added to glycerol solution accelerated glycerol uptake but was not significant statistically. Browning of leaves resulted from dryness and glycerol treatment was repressed with addition of 0.5 gㆍL?¹ dyestuff. In addition, such treatments showed similar effects in whole parts. As a result, dry processed ‘Duffii’ could be kept flexibility and green color being to near fresh leaves by glycerol solution containing dyestuff.
