Wider society is still inclined to consider technology as `applied science` In this view, technology is subsumed by science. `Technology itself` isn`t count as theme of philosophical thinking. The notion of technology as `applied science` may be summed up the historical and ontological priority of science over technology. The former is related to both the forgotten history of technology and to the specific philosophical traditions of platonism and idealism. By the way, this usual idea for technology is deep-rooted in the modern conception of technology. The modern conception of technology is composed of theses, `technology as extension of power`, `non-independence in the value and mechanism of technology`, `technology as applied science`. Thus treating technology as the object of philosophical study is dissolving the modern conception of technology and requiring alteration of philosophy itself. That is, this is grounding the philosophy of technology not in platonism and idealism, but instead, in the praxis-perceptive materialism. This dissertation dissolve the modern conception of technology by reinterpreting Heidegger`s existentialist phenomenology and Don Idhe`s philosophy of technology. Further, this dissertation, in introduction problems that Ihde`s phenomenological deconstruction retain, propose philosophical investigation direction of technology.
