With the advent of the future mobility era and the expansion and diversification of the automotive market, customer demands have become increasingly diverse and complex. Consequently, automotive manufacturers face the challenge of not only ensuring the initial performance and quality of new vehicles but also compensating for performance degradation caused by component wear over time. This study analyzes the impact of increased tire mileage—given that tires are components that undergo rapid wear during vehicle operation—on ride comfort and handling performance. Furthermore, it investigates a methodology to restore the degraded performance caused by tire wear closer to its original level through E‑VMC (Electrification Vehicle Motion Control) compensation control.
