This paper presents results from analyzing data collected from 447 urban juvenile male and investigating relationships between motor ability and anthropometry in accordance with age.
1) Characteristics of Anthropometry.
It shows that development of physical characteristics such as height, shoulder breadth and chest is noticeable in accordance with age but percentage of fat does not relate with age.
2) Characteristics of motor abilities
Whereas motor ability generally improves with maturity, and a certain ability such as figure 8 duck shows not much difference.
3) Relationships between anthropometry and motor abilities.
The difference of physical development is significant, but fat percentage is not related with height. However, fat percentage does relate with weight and chest. In motor abilities, ability of100m dash shows a certain contrast with 1000m dash but balancing ability is not related with other motor abilities.
4) Relationships between anthropometry and motor abilities in accordance with age.
The relevance of physical characteristics to strength issignificant in accordance with age and height is related with the agility, percentage of fat is trunk flexion and closed-eyes foot balance.
