It has been proved that determination technique of thermal conductivity made within nonlinear range has no difference with results within linear range.
The experimental test results in an accuracy of 2.0~3.7% for the thermal conductivity, 2.9~4.1% for the volumetric heat capacity, 0.4~1.1% for the thermal diffusivity of insulation material NBS-1450B. This transient probe technique within nonlinear range is useful to obtain multi thermal properties of insulation material.
