〈天字文〉에 나오는 한자의 訓에 관한 硏究 = 文脈의 意味와 달리 나타나는 訓을 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It was general tendency to match only one korean translation of chinese character to each one of the chinese characters in different versions of 〈The Thousand Character Classic〉. A korean word which demonstrates primary meaning was selected for each chinese character without regarding its contextual meaning. The commonly used korean translation of chinese character was utilized in 〈The Thousand Character Classic〉 for it was regarded as the primary guide book of Chinese characters.
In the analysis of fifteen different versions of 〈The Thousand Character Classic〉 edited after the publication of 〈Seokchun 石千〉, it is found that the contextual korean translation of chinese character was attempted in later versions and the ones with korean commentary. However, the general tendency of adopting commonly used korean translation of chinese character in 〈Seokchun 石千〉 was prevalent.
The contextual korean translation of chinese character was relatively frequently utilized in 〈Hunmong 訓夢〉 and 〈Yuhap 類合〉 than in 〈The Thounsand Character Classic〉. Thus, it can be concluded that the general tendency and intention of korean translation of chinese character in 〈The Thousand Character Classic〉 was different from that of 〈Hunmong 訓夢〉 and 〈Yuhap 類合〉
