중국의 매독 역학 및 사회 환경 관련 정책에 대한 연구 = Study on Epidemiology of Syphilis, Social Environment Relevant Policies in China

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

On the basis of introduction of syphilis knowledge, taking the establishment of new China as the dividing line, this paper analyzes the possibility that syphilis was brought into China during maritime trade in Ming Dynasty. After investigation and description of syphilis doctors’ family origin in Ming and Qing Dynasties, this paper speculates that syphilis mainly attacked coastal area and economically active areas. After that, this paper introduces preventive and control measures for syphilis as well as regulations issued by China since the establishment of new China in 1949, and reviews the epidemic situation of syphilis.
