대학 여성운동선수의 스포츠경험과 진로의식에 관한 연구 = A Study on The Relationship Between Intercollegiate Athlete's Sport Experiences and Perceptions on Career

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of women intercollegiate athletes' sport experiences to the perceptions on career. The study utilized qualitative research method to identify the participants' opinion about their sport experiences and how these experiences influence their career-perception process. Total of 10 women intercollegiate athletes were participated in this study. The sub-themes were included socialindividual barriers and career-perception, sport experiences and positive career-perception, and the relationship between sport experiences and career-perception. Each sub-theme explained how women intercollegiate athletes understood meaningful relationship between their sport experiences and perceptions on career. As a results, the participants had very positive attitudes toward their career in the sport-related fields because of their positive experiences throughout their athletic career based on their perception. From this point of view, it is necessary to develop career opportunities and to minimize various social barriers for women athletes in society.
