일 지역 대학생의 흡연 실태와 구강건강 상태에 관한 연구 = A study on the smoking characteristics and oral health of the college students in Some Area

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to investigate smoking characteristics and oral health status of the college students in practice for oral hygiene. The sample consisted of 298 at the scaling practice room of dental hygiene department in D College from April to November 2016. The data was analyzed with χ2-test and t-test using SPSS 18.0 program. Of 298, 40.9% was smoker. Of these, 51.7% smoked less than a pack a day. Smoker showed cold teeth and mouth dryness symptoms. It was high percentage of toothbrushing time of smoker is “2minutes” and non-smoker “3minutes”. Also gingival bleeding on toothbrushing and halitosis were higher of smokers(p<0.05). O'learly index was the higest of smokers(p<0.05). I suggest with the result of the study that there needs a valid non-smoking treatment guidelines and oral health management for college students. Also These are required policy support for the continued active participation and management.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 일 지역 대학생들의 흡연 실태와 흡연 유뮤에 따른 구강건강 상태를 확인하고자 수행되었다. 자료는 2016년 4월부터 2016년 11월까지 D지역의 대학에서 치위생과 스켈링 실습실에 방문한 스켈링 대상자 중 대학생 298명으로부터 설문지를 통하여 수집하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS/WIN 18.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 χ2-test, t-test로 분석하였다. 흡연을 하는 경우는 40.9%이며, 흡연자 중 하루 흡연량은 1갑 미만이 51.7%로 가장 높았다. 일 지역 대학생의 구강 내 주관적 구강건강 인지도의 치아 시림과 구강 건조는 흡연자에게서 증상이 높았고, 칫솔질 시간은 흡연자는 ‘2분’이 44.3%, 비흡연자는 ‘3분’이 53.4%로 가장 많았다. 칫솔질 시 출혈은 흡연자가 높았으며(p<0.001), 입 냄새도 흡연자가 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 치면세균막지수(O'Learly index)는 흡연자에게서 구강위생상태가 불량하였다(p<0.05). 따라서 대학생들에게 금연과 구강건강을 함께 도모할 수 있는 보건교육 및 실천프로그램의 방안이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.
