도시 계획에 대한 이해 및 공감대 형성을 위한 홍보관 계획 - 새만금 종합 홍보관을 중심으로- = Exhibition plan for understanding to the urban planning and creating consensus - Focus on the saemangeum exhibition center -

국문 초록 (Abstract)

새만금 사업은 과거 농업용지확보 및 수해방지를 위해 출범되었으나 1995년부터 본격화된 환경담론에 휩쓸리며 갈등의 대명사가 된 사업이다. 현재 새만금 사업은 환경과 상생하는 명품복합도시로써 도시계획을 재정비하고 세계 최장 길이의 방조제와 대규모의 배수갑문으로 새로운 시작을 열고 있다. 새만금 종합 홍보관은 그러한 사업규모 및 내용에 대해 바른 이해를 전달하고 새만금 지역이 갖고 있는 문화 및 환경자원을 재조명하여 지역의 밝은 미래에 대한 공감대를 형성하고자 기획되어야 하였다. 이에 방조제와 배수갑문 모형을 시작으로 하여 사업의 규모 및 기술을 전달하고 도시 모형과 영상의 조화를 통해 도시계획의 전체적인 그림을 보여줄 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 미래 새만금 도시 생활을 선경험할 수 있는 디지털 갤러리와 입체영상을 통해 관람객들이 사업의 필요성을 이해하고 지역의 밝은 미래를 공감하도록 기획하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Saemangeum Project which is designed to transform tidal flats off the country's southwestern coast into farmlands and a freshwater reservoir. Environmental issues came to the fore in the 1995 and the construction of the Saemangeum Seawall has caused controversy from the moment it was announced as environmental groups protested against the impact of the dyke on the local environment. The Saemangeum Project is a government-run project with the goal of constructing a ‘global premium Saemangeum,’ a city of green growth and a clean environment. The construction of the world’s longest sea dike (33km) and large scale sea dike sluice, which connects Gunsan and Buan, is to create 283km² of reclaimed land and 118km² for a lake. The public relations office of Saemangeum with an environmentally friendly manner, the concept and goals of 'environmentally friendly®ional development' should be properly defined at first, then, amore systematic master plan for the design, construction and management for the project should be initiated to achieve the goals. We can introduce the model of the world’s longest sea dike and large scale sea dike sluice for the scale of the project and technology, will show grand benefits of the Development Plans such as model of Urban Form and Virtual Reality. The future of Saemangeum city life designed to help revive local economy and importance of the business support to Digital Gallery and 3D graphics.
