초등학교 원격수업 사례분석을 통한 원격수업의 가능성과 한계 = Possibilities and Limitations of Distance Instruction through Distance Instruction Case Analysis in Elementary Schools

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to suggest possibilities and limitations through the analysis of elementary school distance instruction developed in the context of Corona 19, and to explore the future direction of distance education. To this end, qualitative data were collected through distance instruction results reporting, interviews, free writing, and newspaper at elementary schools in Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education. The collected qualitative data were analyzed using the conceptual and categorized, structured, and themed four-step qualitative analysis methods mentioned by Saldaña(2009) to derive possibilities and limitations of distance instruction.
Three possibilities were derived: building a foundation for safe class prevention, expanding classroom space and changing instructional methods, reflection on basic learning rights and equal opportunities. In addition, due to the limitations of distance instruction, the duality of online: ethical problems inherent in the public nature of the class, management of the quality of learning: an unknown situation hidden in a limited screen, a sense of incongruity in distance learning: overcoming the learning gap and the difference in distance learning capability. Based on these limitations, a researcher proposed the direction of distance instructions in preparation for the post-corona era. This direction can be a useful way to prepare for a new corona that may come again in the future.
