This Paper is concerned about the probable flux path method to set up the guide line for the design of a solenoid actuator. the design of a solenoid actuator is very important part in the solenoid valve because a performance of solenoid valve is decided with a charateristics of solenoid actuator.
The probable flux path method is the most useful method that designs a solenoid actuator even if has lots of error between real actuator and computed one. In this study, the author tries to improve the probable flux path method with modified assumption. For this purpose, the optinal solenoid valve is selected and the attraction force is computed with the FEM program and probable flux path method at the solenoid actuator. After that, another computation has made by modified assumption. Finally, the results is used to compare each others and that can confirm the modified assumption"s utility.
