Factor affecting pollen and seed fertility were investigated for selfed progenies of trisomics and disomics added lead Rice chromosomes by chromosome engineering and F_1, F_2, and F_3 from the cross trisomics × Milyang^#23. They showed mostly over 70% of pollen fertility. Seed fertility was variable and its highest frequency distribution was below 10%, A F_3 plant showed 79.7% of seed fertility, indicating a potential of selection of breeding lines recovered economic characters.
The first selfed progeny of trisomics and F_1 from the cross trisomics × Milyang^#23 showed mostly a nomal chromosome association at MI of PMCs.
Sterility or low fertility of Lead Rice chromosome addition lines seemed to be not associated with chromosome aberration and sterile pollen grains.
