기독교윤리 : 디트리히 본회퍼의 교회론적 윤리 = Dietrich Bonhoeffer`s Ecclesiological Ethic

국문 초록 (Abstract)

디트리히 본회퍼(Dietrich Bonhoeffer, 1906-1945)는 삶과 신학의 일치를 위해 늘 고민했던 목사이다. 그의 삶은 박사학위 논문이었던 『성도의 교제』, 교수자격 논문이었던 『행위와 존재』, 『나를 따르라』, 『신도의 공동생활』, 『윤리학』, 『저항과 복종』에 나타난 그의 신학적 견해들과 더불어 전개된다. 즉, 그의 저작들 속에는 그가 실제로 살았던 삶 속에서 신학적 고민이 고스란히 녹아들어가 있다. 그의 삶의 정황에 따라 개념적 어휘들이 다양하게 사용되고 있지만, 신학적 사고의 근본적인 틀은 유지되어 있다. 즉, 그의 관심은, 오늘, 여기에서(hic et nunc) ‘그리스도의 실존방식’이었고, ‘하나님과 세상의 현실이 그리스도 안에서 어떻게 하나되는가’에 있었다. 왜냐하면 본회퍼에 의하면, 창조주 하나님은 이 세상 가운데 어디서든 피조물들과 늘 교제하기를 원하시기 때문이다. 그 방법은 바로 ‘거룩한 공동체’, ‘성도의 교제’(Sanctorum Communio), ‘교회’(die Kirche)를 통해 이루어진다. 하나님의 뜻이 담긴 계명과 그것에 대한 성도들의 응답이라는 형태를 통해, 인류는 ‘하나님 앞으로의 삶’으로 인도된다. 본회퍼에 의하면, 이러한 ‘하나님 앞에서의 삶’은 추상적인 사고나, 경건을 위한 격리가 아니라, 일상에서 그리스도를 뒤따름(Nachfolge)을 통해서 실현된다. 이러한 본회퍼의 삶과 신학을 종합적으로 고려해 볼 때, 그의 신학은 ‘교회론적 윤리’(die ekklesiologische Ethik)라고 재해석할 수 있다. 본회퍼의 ‘교회론적 윤리’는 ‘그리스도교적 인격’(die christliche Person) 개념으로부터 출발해, 기독론적이며 동시에 교회론적인 개념인, ‘공동체로 존재하는 그리스도’(Christus als Gemeinde existierend) 개념을 거쳐, 하나님 앞에서의 삶으로서의 응답이라는 ‘책임’(Verantwortung)의 개념을 포함하는 다양한 기독교윤리적 개념들로 발전된다. 이러한 기독론적인 토대위에 형성된 ‘교회론적 윤리’는 한국교회의 윤리적 문제들을 풀 수 있는 다양한 해결방안들을 제시해 줄 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It is fascinating to watch, in Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906-1945), the coincidence between his person and his work. His life is consistent with his theological insights that he was able to express, e.g., in Sanctorum Communio, his doctoral dissertation, in Act and Being, the thesis qualifying him for academic teaching, in the books Discipleship and Life Together, in his manuscripts for an Ethics, and in his Letters and Papers from Prison. All of his writings are decidedly related to life as it is lived. Although his focus upon subjects shifted and his use of concepts differed as circumstances changed during his life, the fundamental structure of his theological thinking remained the same. His concern was to ask how Christ is present for us today, and how the unity of God`s and the world`s reality is realized in Jesus Christ. Because God lays claim to the world, everyday life becomes the place where life is lived before God, and meeting a neighbor turns into an encounter with God. The way in which each individual relates to his or her own self and fellow beings does matter for the world, and thus also for the church and the believers. Bonhoeffer always strives for actual concreteness: By God`s specific commandment, and the believers` response to it, people are led to a life before God. This life before God does not take place in abstract thinking, or in pious isolation, but in everyday life following Christ in discipleship. When spelling out Bonhoeffer`s writings, already in his early works there are found concepts that provide roots from which his ‘ecclesiological ethic’ grew, such as Bonhoeffer`s Christian concept of person that informs his christological ecclesiological concept “Christ existing as church-community.” Bonhoeffer`s christologically grounded ecclesiological ethic can help to solve ethical problems of Church in Korea.
