청소년의 예술심리치료 프로그램 참여동기가 진로정체감에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of Motivation on Vocational Identity for Youth to Participate in Art Psychotherapy Program

This study examined the effects of youth motivation on vocational identity to participate in art psychotherapy programs. The subjects were 182 adolescents participating in an art psychotherapy program at a local counseling center located in N-gu, U city. As analysis methods, the correlation, descriptive statistics, t-test, and multiple regression were performed based on frequency, reliability, and factor analyses using the statistical program SPSS. From the demographic characteristics, the mean difference by educational stage of motivation to participate in art psychotherapy programs and the mean difference in vocational identity by educational stage and religion status were statistically significant. On average, a higher educational stage was associated with greater motivation and vocational identity, and having a religion was associated with higher vocational identity. Second, only 'leisure use' of participation motivation showed a significant positive effect on vocational identity. On average, higher 'leisure use' meant higher vocational identity. Combining, 'leisure use' was identified as an important factor to improve vocational identity. Therefore, the development of leisure-utilizing therapy programs and content based on educational stage and religious status is necessary for improving the vocational identity.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 예술심리치료 프로그램 참여동기가 진로정체감에 미치는 영향을 파악하는데 있다. 연구대상은 U시 N구에 위치한 지역 상담센터에서 예술심리치료 프로그램에 참여중인 청소년 182명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 분석방법으로는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석과 요인분석을 토대로 상관관계분석, 기술통계 분석, t-검정과 변수 간의 인과관계에 대한 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 청소년의 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 참여동기의 평균차이는 학교급에서, 진로정체감은 학교급과 종교 유무에서 통계적으로 유의미하게 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 청소년의 학교급이 높을수록 참여동기 및 진로정체감을, 종교가 있는 청소년이 없는 청소년보다 진로정체감을 더 높게 인식한다는 것을 의미하는 것이다. 둘째, 청소년의 예술심리치료 프로그램 참여동기의 하위요인들과 진로정체감의 영향관계에 대한 분석결과, 참여동기의 ‘여가활용’ 하위요인만 진로정체감에 유의미하게 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 청소년의 참여동기 하위요인인 ‘여가활용’이 높을수록 진로정체감이 향상된다는 것을 의미하는 것이다. 이러한 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 진로정체감을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안은 예술심리치료 프로그램 참여동기의 ‘여가활용’이 중요한 요인으로 규명되었다. 따라서 청소년의 진로정체감을 향상시키기 위해서는 학교급별, 종교 유무의 특성을 고려하여 여가적 도구를 활용한 예술심리치료 프로그램과 콘텐츠를 개발하고 활성화 시킬 수 있는 방안을 강구해야 할 것으로 사료된다.
