As the natural environment changes from fields to forests, it seems to reach a peak at some point. However, from time to time, trees die or become damaged due to various influences, and a new stage begins again. In the place where a tree dies, the ecology changes from grass to vegetation again, causing different types of small spaces to coexist in the large forest. These small-scale changes serve as a clue to quickly adapt to the given environment when a larger disaster, such as a forest fire or pest damage, occurs in the forest. Likewise, we cannot rule out the possibility that even stable societies are subject to radical change. Even if it has a long history, legitimacy, and stable internal structure, there may come a time when changes in the external environment pose a threat. To achieve this, society needs an open space to accept change. These spaces may feel like meaningless changes or threats to the existing world, but in reality, they are the possibilities and future ultimately required in that society. Ceramics are an old society with a solid historical foundation, economic value, and status as an art. As a result, there are a variety of occupations involved in them, and they often occupy an axis in the cultural identity of each country. In particular, Korea has a long history of ceramics and is one of the countries that has turned this around well to date. However, the older a society is, the more difficult it is to change. These issues continue to be talked about, but due to the stability and uniqueness of the society, they do not lead to major changes and often remain as repeated questions. This researcher would like to attempt to expand this situation by substituting it into rhizome. While old societies have an arboreal structure, rhizome is a grassroots structure. By dismantling the trees back into bushes, we want to experiment to see whether we can gain a new perspective and thus actively undergo transformation. In addition, we would like to begin this study with the question of what role minimal attempts can play in this process and whether they can thereby create new possibilities. For research purposes, as an artist, who is the smallest unit in ceramic society, various discourses are reorganized into a rhizome structure. This is a way for the author, who may be just a tree, to knock down and lose himself. Through this reconstruction and deconstruction, attempts are made for new interpretations and mutations in each area. Experiment to see whether new possibilities can be derived through a series of processes.
