현제강의 『易簡良方』 연구 = A study on Iganyangbang written by HyeonJegang

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고를 통하여 조선 후기 경험방서인『이간양방』에 대하여 고찰하였다. 이 책은 어의인 현제강이 1707년에서 1735년 사이에 저술하였다. 『이간양방』은 4권 4책이라는 상당한 분량의 의서임에도 학계에 소개되지 않은 새로운 경험방서이다. 『이간양방』의 구성과 내용 분석을 통하여 다음과 같은 사실을 알았다.
첫째, 『이간양방』은 17세기 조선 의학사 관련된 중요한 정보를 제공한다. 예를 들어 허임의 호는 호은(湖隱)이다. 문견방은 별도의 책이 아니며 속방을 지칭하는 용어이다.
둘째, 『이간양방』은 『동의보감』의 영향을 크게 받았다. 항목 순서를 바꾸기는 하였지만 항목 자체는 『동의보감』의 분류를 따랐다. 의론과 처방의 인용도 『동의보감』에서 다수 이루어졌다.
셋째, 『이간양방』은 『동의보감』을 실용성이라는 측면에서 보완하여 우리나라의 경험의학에 접목하였다. 특히 이러한 성격은 책 구성과 질환에 대한 새로운 대응에서 엿보인다.
넷째, 『이간양방』은 당시의 최신 중국 의학을 받아들였다. 『이간양방』의 가장 주된 인용서는 『본초강목』이다. 그 외 『단방휘취』와 『의학입문』 등 1600년대 경의 명대 저작들을 자주 활용하였다.
『이간양방』은 17세기 의학사 연구에 있어 시사하는 바가 크다. 『이간양방』은 17세기 조선의 의가가 『동의보감』 완성 이후 우리나라에서 축적된 경험 의학과 중국에서 정리된 의학 성과를 융합시켜 가는 양상을 보여준다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper examines Iganyangbang (Easy and simple good quality prescription), an experiential medical book of the late Joseon Dynasty. This book was written by Hyeon Je-gang, a royal physician between 1707 and 1735. Through analysis of the structure and content of Iganyangbang, the folowing facts were found.
1. Iganyangbang provides important information related to the history of Joseon medicine in the 17th century. For example, Heo Im’s nickname is Hoeun.
2. Iganyangbang was greatly influenced by Donguibogam.
3. Iganyangbang supplemented Donguibogam in terms of practicality and applied it to Korea's empirical medicine. In particular, this characteristic is visible in the structure of the book and its new response to disease.
4. Iganyangbang adopted the latest Chinese medicine of the time. The main citation of Iganyangbang is Bonchogangmog.
Iganyangbang shows the way Joseon doctors in the 17th century integrated the empirical medicine accumulated in Korea and the medical achievements summarized in China after the completion of Donguibogam. As the title of the book suggests, the purpose of writing Iganyangbang is to respond to emergency situations, and the cited literature, structure, and content of the book need to be understood.
